Chief Minister Usman Buzdar made a bold decision, passing the order that the upcoming Government employees will get no pension. The Government of Punjab will now provide pension-free jobs.

There was an important meeting regarding this decision. The Treasure Ministry provided a basic briefing regarding pension reforms. Further working has started regarding the reforms on orders of the Chief Minister.

The Treasure Ministry informed in their briefing that the employees selected on regular posts will also get no pension. Contract selections will be prioritized in Punjab. The labor working on the contract will only get their basic salaries and allowances.

The Chief Minister briefed that the Treasure Ministry should complete the reforms regarding pension within one month.

Conclusion:

To be fair, this was a controversial decision by Chief Minister Usman Buzdar. The Government employees only had this one edge that they get pension after their retirement to live the ending years of their life in peace. Surely, this was a discomforting decision for all the Government employees and they must be unhappy about this. Keeping in view, the rising prices of goods, the Government of PTI has proved yet again that they have no sympathy for their employees and labor.
