No Panadol shortage
In today’s meeting of Primary and Secondary
health care, Minister of Health Punjab, Dr. Yasmeen Rashid reported that there
is no shortage of Panadol tablets in Punjab. She said that the health care
department will ensure the digitalization and integration of the health IT
system.
She further added that amendments will be in
the law. No one will be given medicine without the doctor’s prescription. The
purchasing and selling of medicine will all be digitalized so the government
will keep a record of it. Those who sell medicine without checking the prescription
will be punished. In the end, she said that a pharmacist is must needed in the
medical stores of Punjab.
