General Hospital Lahore: Female patient dies due to ineffectual and unprofessional treatment by the doctors. 25 years old Tina dies on a stretcher.
According to
the reports, on Saturday night, 25-year-old Tina was brought to the emergency
ward of the General hospital due to high sugar levels. The doctors acted
foolishly and shifted her to ward number 3 for treatment. She was not shifted
to the ICU even when she was in a critical condition. They couldn’t even
arrange a bed for the patient in ward number 3 and she was on the stretcher for
2 days struggling to survive. This ultimately led to her tragic demise.
Asif, who
was the husband of the patient, protested that it was the doctors’ faults that
caused her wife’s death.
MS (Medical
Superintendent) Dr. Riaz stated that there is a lack of beds in the hospital due
to the ongoing Dengue conditions.
Conclusions:
Another day
and another life were wasted because of the unprincipled behavior of the doctors. If the
Dengue cases are increasing, is it not the responsibility of the medical staff
and the hospitals to keep things under control? Who would compensate for the
lost soul? Who is responsible for providing the best medical treatment possible
for the patients? Is it not the responsibility of the government to provide
adequate equipment and medicine in their hospitals?
That's good
