Health Minister of Punjab Yasmeen Rashid said that the medication for dengue is sufficient in the government hospitals of Punjab
In the 11th syndicate procession of the
Rawalpindi Medical University, the choices made in the 10th
procession were acknowledged and accepted under the chancellorship of the
health minister Yasmeen Rashid. The provincial health minister accepted the
7 and a half billion rupees budget for the maintenance and upkeep of the
Rawalpindi Medical University’s hostel, the utility bills, the oxygen supply, and the bills of the Holy Family Hospital.
In the procession, the M. Phil and P.H.D programs were also
recognized. Yasmeen Rashid also examined the dengue conditions not just in
Rawalpindi but in the entire Punjab. She further stated that this University
will be facilitated with sanitization and rain harvesting. According to the
Prime Minister’s dream of “Clean and Green” Pakistan, the university’s overall
atmosphere will be improved. The medical facilities of other hospitals of
Rawalpindi will also be enhanced with equal effect.
She also stated that the Chief Minister of Punjab is being
updated regularly about the dengue circumstances. And all the right measures are
being practiced to better this condition of dengue.
Conclusion:
A great announcement and decision by the government indeed.
The hospitals were lacking medical facilities and the students of government
hostels were in miserable condition. This was a much-needed act. Also, the
government showing interest in these matters is a good sign. We hope that the
government starts acting on its decisions as soon as possible.
