The Danger of wheat absence in Punjab
Serious wheat disaster, Food Department has stopped the stock of wheat to flour mills.
There is a danger of serious wheat calamity in Rawalpindi, Islamabad after the resource of wheat was cut off. The incompetence of the food section will plunge the whole Punjab into crisis. The cost of one bag will be increased by Rs. 85 on the purchase of wheat from South Punjab.
With the decision not to
receive wheat from government warehouses in South Punjab, a complete strike was
announced in the twin cities from Monday, and the scope of the strike is likely
to spread to the entire province from Tuesday.
According to Group Leader
Flour Mills Association-Punjab Asim Raza, the situation has deteriorated
in the entire province. The fleet of flour mills industry is sinking. Punjab
Food Department officials are responsible for the crisis.
